Gamers8 2022 marked the inaugural edition of this event, organized by the saudi esports federation (sef), with a focus on esports, gaming, and entertainment. It spanned 8 weeks, running from July to August, and took place at Boulevard Riyadh City.

Building upon the achievements of gamers8 2022, the 2023 edition, Vanguard, elevated the festival's offerings to a new level.

Gamers8 features a variety of esports competitions, panel discussions, workshops, concerts, and community gaming activations. It is a flagship esports event in Saudi Arabia, aiming to strengthen the country's presence in the competitive gaming ecosystem. Gamers8 offers substantial prize pools, with the 2023 edition boasting the largest prize pool in esports history at $45 million.

The festival includes tournaments in games like Dota 2, Fortnite, Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, PUBG Mobile, CS:GO, StarCraft, Tekken 7, Street Fighter, and FIFA, among others, attracting elite esports champions and gaming enthusiasts to Riyadh for this grand event
