The 2024 Esports World Cup was a landmark event, uniting top esports clubs worldwide with over $60 million in prizes.

Held in Riyadh, from July 3 to August 25, 2024, it attracted millions of visitors and thousands of players, setting a new standard for global esports competitions.

Vanguard played a key role as the Masterplanner, managing 15 venues and the common area.

Responsibilities included venue booking, facility management, maintenance, health and safety, and acting as the local representative for international teams.

‍

This ensured smooth operations and a world-class experience for players and fans.

‍

A major highlight was the STC Play Gaming Hall, a free, non-ticketed venue managed by Vanguard. It hosted a variety of esports tournaments, such as: League of Legends Arabian League Valorant VCL MENA Honor of Kings Arab Championship EA FC Last Chance Qualifiers, offering a space for casual gamers and emerging talents to compete and engage with the community.

With 21 tournaments, 2,300 players, and 2.6 million anticipated visitors, the event reinforced esports as a global entertainment powerhouse.

Vanguard’s expertise helped set a new benchmark, paving the way for future editions to grow even bigger.
